Motor Vehicle Accidents (GTMC does not bill Geico Insurance Company)
If you are interested in inquiring if GTMC can bill your insurance carrier, please call your insurance member services and ask if you have massage therapy coverage by a LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist) only. If your plan covers massage by a Chiropractor or Physical Therapist only, GTMC cannot bill your insurance.
After you have verified your coverage with your insurance, let us know and GTMC will verify coverage as well and start billing your visits.
If GTMC is unable to verify your coverage at the time of your visit, we ask that you pay for the visit in full and upon verification and billing of your insurance, you will be reimbursed.
Motor Vehicle Accident Claims
GTMC can bill your PIP (Personal Injury Protection) portion of your automobile insurance coverage. You will need to provide: a prescription for massage therapy from your Medical Doctor and/or Chiropractor, your insurance company name, the adjuster’s name and phone number, and your claim number. Your prescription for massage therapy can be faxed directly to our office at 503-674-6706.
Workers Compensation Claims
GTMC can bill your claim with any Workers Compensation Claim. You will need to provide a prescription for massage therapy from your Medical Doctor and/or Chiropractor, the agency’s name, phone number, and your claim number. Your prescription for massage therapy can be faxed directly to our office at 503-674-6706.
* GTMC suggests waiting 48 to 72 hours after any accident prior to receiving massage therapy and to consult with your doctor prior to coming in.
* GTMC bills all insurance at a rate of $38 per unit (a unit = 15 minutes). Should you wish to pay for your service at the time of visit, please refer to our Services and Prices list.
